About me

I have been in customer service for 30 years and my tenure in the restaurant industry lasted 25 years. My experience goes into all different elements of the industry. I have been a bartender, server, cocktail waitress, head cocktail waitress, management, training and hostessing. I have created training manuals for restaurants and worked on numerous computer systems, as well as hand writing tickets.

My computer knowledge extends to Micros, Aloha, Squirrel and Open table. My journey in the industry led me to thrive in an environment that I am passionate about. I have worked at numerous restaurants such as Roka Akor, The Mission, The House Brasserie, Devil’s Martini, NEXT, Mimi’s Café, Souper Salad, Randy’s, Le Peep, AZ88 and many more.

My leadership qualities have allowed me to train incoming employees as well as management opportunities. My name, I believe, carries a lot of weight. Through the years I have had many prior employers and co-workers calling, texting or FaceBook messaging me for leads on jobs. I put out my feelers and have matched numerous managers with employees. Our company is the perfect answer to all your staffing needs.

Testimonials

Tanya Smith has helped me with great job opportunities. In 2013 She landed me a job at Ventura Grill sports bar. I worked for them for two years. She presented me another opportunity with Nordstrom cafe. I have been with the company since 2015 to present. Renae Kinner
In August of 1996, I moved from Glendale, AZ to Scottsdale, AZ. I had attended GCC for two years, and was getting ready to start my first semester at ASU. I was working at a restaurant in Glendale, and was looking for a position at a restaurant closer to my new home in Scottsdale. Surprisingly, I had trouble finding a restaurant that was hiring at that time. I continued to work at a restaurant in Glendale as I was searching for a new position. I was a full time student, and the commute back and forth to work was exhausting. I rarely had any time to see friends or family, and was spending a lot of money on travel expenses. Tanya Smith called me on Saturday afternoon in March of 1997, and invited me to her house for lunch. I'm so happy that I made time to meet her. During lunch, I told her about my circumstance with my work commute. She asked me a few questions about my restaurant experience, and availability. She had worked in the restaurant industry for many years, and offered her help in locating a local position for me. The following Monday I received a call from her, informing me that a restaurant in Scottsdale was hiring. She had already spoken with the managers, and told them about my experience in the restaurant industry and my availability. I called them immediately, and had an interview the next day. They hired me, and I ended up working there for the next 5 years until I moved out of state. Tanya's motivation and drive to help me locate a position is something I will never forget. She found the perfect job for me to apply to, and I'm still friends with several of the amazing coworkers I had there.Laura Atkinson
I had the extraordinary experience of working with Tanya. I truly cannot say enough positive things about her. She is personable, genuine, proactive, helpful, honest, kind and supportive in what is so often a stressful process for all involved. I spent the last 11 months of my life doing countless job applications, taking ridiculous mandatory tests online to complete those applications, and going to interviews... I've been in the hospitality industry for the past 10 years and have worked for some of the best restaurants in Scottsdale and still could not get a job... As I was about to give up, a old coworker reached out to me with Tanya's info. In no way did I ever think anything would've come into fruition when I called... Well I was surely proven wrong... within 18 hours of speaking with her for the first time she had 2 interviews lined up for me. She prepped me before the interviews with questions to ask, what to look for and what to do after an interview, what not to bring up on the first interview, etc. I appreciate the opportunity Top Notch Hospitality has brought into my life. I would highly recommend Tanya's services without any reservations. She truly is a Top Notch Restaurant Matchmaker
Toyna was amazing and got me an amazing job. It didn’t take her long to find something that is a great fit for me. I would recommend her to everyone. Kim Jensen

Tanya has a way of making you feel secure and really knows how to take the time to get to the bottom of what you want/are looking for, job wise. She’s been in the food industry for 25+ years and you can tell just by her confidence, that she not only wants herself to succeed...But wants you to succeed as well. I highly recommend. So I'm walking on my school campus minding my own business when Tanya stops me and asks me if I'm in the food industry. I happened to be a chef and I was looking to switch establishments. She looks me in the eye and says I can have a job for you by tomorrow (*snaps finger). I was hesitant and doubtful but figured I'd upload my resume to her website that night. She called me the next day at 3, I had an interview at 4 and got the job. She also advised me and gave me some great tips on how to do well at the interview. I was really impressed and really excited about the new opportunity at a really cool establishment. Thank you Tanya!Benjy Elisha
Your reputation precedes you. It looks like I got the job. I'm going back tomorrow afternoon to finalize everything. Thank you so much.
